Iggy Azalea's debut album tops US charts
Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea has released her debut album, The New Classic, which has immediately hit the top 5 on the US Charts. The blonde bombshell currently sits at number 3, ahead of Pharrell Williams, GIRL, and Lorde, Pure Heroine. The album includes her hit songs 'Work' and 'Fancy' and is the highest charting album by a female rapper since Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded from 2012. This is a huge achievement for the 23 year old with many Australian rappers failing to be able to make a dent in US market. Azalea has also found success on the singles chart with her duet with Ariana Grande in 'Problem' breaking Taylor Swift's 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' record by becoming the fastest hit to reach number 1 on the iTunes chart in just 37 minutes.
