Australian Music Festivals

Music festivals are an adventure in themselves. Australian music festivals, though not in comparison to Coachella Or Glatsonbury, are still very capable when it comes to music, sun, and dance. We're lucky to have year-long music bashes for all kinds of genres. 



Homebake: An annual Australian rock festival. Usually an all-Australian line up, but 2012 saw a 'global' aspect, predominately Australasian.  




Melbourne International Jazz Festival: The name says it all. "...with over 500 international and Australian artists performing and collaborating at over 20 of Melbourne’s iconic venues"






Parklife: Is a spring festival, held in September/October, and features world renowned, and local, artists and DJ's - For example Calvin Harris, Goyte, & Tiga




Soundwave Festival: Rock, metal, and punk. This annual music festival, held in most major cities in Australia, is the usually one of the most anticipated event of the year. 2014's line up includes Green Day, Avenged Sevenfold, Korn and Alice In Chains.



Big Day Out: Usually held during late January, this music event has consisted of  popular contemporary rock music, electronic music, mainstream international acts and local acts. Bringing together a huge audience and many unforgettable memories. 





Splendor in the Grass: Awarded favourite line-up 2009, Splendor in the Grass is annually held near Byron Bay, as a three day event. Due to it's growing popularity, throughout the years, this music event has continued to grow in artist line-up, and audience.
