Black Label Pantera?

There's been talk of a Pantera reunion with Zakk Wylde (guitarist of Black Label Society) filling in for Dimebag Darrel since his death about 10 years ago. I think its a bad idea. Pantera are coined with titles, 'best metal band' and 'best band ever' and with more than 10 years since the band has split, they wouldn't be able to recreate the same sound. If anything the group should start a new band but living up to the great Pantera - and Dimebag - legacy is near impossible. It could be the best thing ever or a train wreck sparking debates of who's better, why they shouldn't have gotten back together and arguments everywhere of who did it better. I think it'll be the latter. Wylde and Dimebag are great guitarists, lets not make a battle between them.

It would sound good, don't get me wrong on that, but there would be fan expectations and arguments clouding the music. To give a listen of what it might sound like, here is a fan-filmed video of Phil Anselmo singing with Black Label Society the Pantera classic, "I'm Broken."
