Splendour in the Grass Lineup Announce

The lineup for Splendour has finally been announced with international artists Outkast, Lily Allen, Childish Gambino and London Grammar among the few headlining the festival. Local Australian talent including Angus & Julia Stone, Vance Joy and The Preatures will also be performing. The 2014 lineup will see a mix of hip-hop, electro, pop and folk/blues which is sure to make another mega weekend in North Byron Parklands.

Alongside the artists, festival-goers will be able to view comedy acts, craft, shopping and also show off their own musical talent through karaoke.

Australia: Meet Soulfest

Fans of soul, jazz, hip-hop and r'n'b music will be pleased to hear that for the first time, a brand new music festival will be hitting the entire Australian east coast.

Soulfest is well on the way, with headlining acts Common, Aloe Blacc and Mos Def confirmed to be performing along with D'Angelo, who will be performing in Australia for the first time.

In addition to the headlining acts, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane will each have 20 live performers and DJs. With a two-stage layout alternating with acts over 10 hour timetable will ensure that there are no scheduling conflicts whatsoever.

In addition to this, there will be quality food on offer, including New Orleans soul food, cook-offs and themed bars. All in all, the festival is shaping up to be a very promising event, and we can only hope that it is successful and the festival circuit can continue to diversify.
