Michael Akerfeldt reveals deails of new Opeth album


"Pale Communion" is to be released in June via Roadrunner Records, being produced by front man, Michael Akerfeldt. In recent interviews Akerfeldt has revealed the sound of the album is to be similar to 'Heritage' , although heavier and stronger melodies. He talks about the influences of the sound having roots in Black Sabbath and Queen, having a 70s/80s feel.

Slayer release new track


All time favorites Slayer, released a new track, "Implode' while no one was looking. In a statement by the band they revealed they are writing and recording new music and hinted at a tour with Suicidal Tendencies and Exodus.
